About Me:: I teach Band and also some General Music at the Du Quoin Middle School. I have been teching music for 30 years with the last 23 years in Du Quoin.

Attended MacMurray College for two years and finished my B.M. in Education at Southern Illinois University - Carbondale.

I am vice president of the illinois Grade School Music Association - Southern Division where i created and maintaine their web site www.igsmasouth.org

I write web software using PHP and FileMaker Pro (a data base) for the IHSA and IGSMA Southern Division's Solo & Enesmble, and Organization Contests. This takes a LOT of my free time.

In my band program, i use SmartMusic (Started when it was called Vivace and used a black box and memory cartriges) and ProTools LE digital recording software. Also use Finale 2008 for emergency part rewrites.

Sold lots of cheese & sausage to get the Macs we use. Yes, I am a Long Mac person in a Windows world

7th grade general music we use FinaleNotepad 5005 (the computer lab is still running Windows 98!)
