Carol - To my mind, there will always be folks out there who create soulless music. Music without dimension, dynamics and feeling will always fall by the wayside for those who look to music as more than entertainment. The art world is full of this dynamic. I do not see a problem. Those who listen closely and appreciate art for what it gives back will quickly dismiss the auto-muzak of which you speak. You said it yourself, you own students laughwhen they hear it- of course! They already know better... TH
