Oddly enough, the program works on the older boards in my building, but every time I launch it on my computer while connected to the board (a 300Pro), the board freezes and stops recognizing the pen. I can't even calibrate. Any suggestions would b...

It is more likely there is a problem with her Groovy software. Having the Promethean Board should not make a difference. She should contact Sibelius Support. They are wonderful and should be able to help.

Help! How do you get GROOVY music to work on a Promethean Board?

The K-3 teacher in my district just got a Promethean Board and cannot get the board to work with Groovy music. Is this a preference problem or does she need a driver? Thanks!

Wee World

As music teachers we are concerned about sound, not pictures. But visual matters. I always wondered how people got the cool avatar on their webpages. Well, here it is www.weeworld.com/ You can create an avatar that best looks like you, it has a variety of clothes, settings, and additional objects. Try it out! You'll love it!

Musicans are the BEST people.

You will see this post all over my blogs. I recently came back from the Michigan Music Conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I drove three hours, arriving around 5pm. Hi Carol, I've really enjoyed looking over your pages and seeing your great work with technology and music education. I'm curious if you have any knowledge about the Full Sail Education Media Design and Technology Program. I've been trying to look online for any reviews of this specific program, but have been unsuccessful. If you have time to enlighten me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

My husband and I both attended DHS also. We were both in the band together and the rest is history! I graduated in 1987. Thanks for hosting this site. I was looking at your site through Sunset Ridge earlier and it looks like you are doing great stuff with your music students. Thanks for sharing with all of the rest of us!

Hi Carol,
It was great meeting you at a conference call for Vermont Midi last week. I think Web 2.0 has great potential for marketing and spreading the word.
