Mr. Krieg teaches at Beavercreek, Mt. Pleasant and Jennings Lodge Elementary Schools in Oregon City School District #62. He teaches first-fifth grade general music as well as beginning band and choir for sixth grade. He is level 1 certified and teaches using the Orff-Schulwerk technique.
In 2001, Mr. Krieg graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education/minor education (cum laude) from Warner Pacific College. He was awarded talent scholarships and merit scholarships for stellar academic and vocal standing. From there, he taught private voice and piano lessons at Ethos, Inc. (a non-profit music center in N.E. Portland).
In 2007, Mr. Krieg finished a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentrated emphasis in Integrated Arts Education from Lesley University in Cambridge MA.
In addition to teaching elementary music, Mr. Krieg also directs Choir 1 for the Oregon Children's Choir Youth Chorale organization. He also serves and the interim worship leader at his church.
