It is next week and Technology Institute of Music Technology is part of it. I am presenting "Flash, GarageBand, and the iPod" and "Let's Communicate" If you need more inforation - http://www.michiganmusicconference.org/index.html
I am driving out there Wednesday around 12:00 and coming back really late on Saturday. If you want more information just let me know. I know that it is short notice, I should have posted this sooner.
Hi Carol, I attended your session "Flash, Garageband, and the iPod" and now I'm here. I tried to start a forum last year with my circle of music teacher friends, but it didn't stick. I'm always on the look out for new music ed forums and blogs to read, so a Music Ed & Tech social network is just what I need. :) I'll spread the word about Music Techie Teachers to our former forum members.
I attended the TI:ME (Technology Institute for Music Educators) conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is the premier organization for music educators who want to grow their influence as educators! I presented "It's All About Mi, Mi, Mi: Pro Tools Jewels in the Choral Arena." When students know that we focus our efforts on them, then they WANT to be involved in music programs. Audio Recording is an incredible way to promote the strengths of our students in music programs at any age. I hope to share more about how digital audio recording (D.A.W.) with my students has changed not only my perspective but that of my students as well!
If you missed the Ti:ME.org conference in Michigan, you missed Carol Broos! She was incredible!
